I am a Junior Professor (corresponding to an Assistant Professor in the US) in Philosophy at the University of Wuppertal and a Research Fellow at its Interdisciplinary Center for Science and Technology Studies. I am also a Contributing Editor at the Einstein Papers Project at the California Institute of Technology.
My research focuses on the philosophy of physics, strongly informed by its history and questions of metaphysics. My main focus is on the philosophy of space and time, and the foundations of spacetime theories in particular.
